Preparation Time 10-15 minutes
Cooking Time 0-5 minutes
Total Time 10-20 minutes
Level of Difficulty Easy

Ingredients

  • 3 ice cubes
  • 2 ounces pumpkin spice vodka (or substitute with regular or vanilla vodka)
  • 1 ounce dark rum (or substitute with rumchata)
  • 2 tablespoons pumpkin puree (canned or homemade)
  • 1 ounce maple syrup
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Optional: pinch of pumpkin pie spice
  • 1/2 ounce half and half (or substitute with irish cream)
  • Maple syrup (to taste)
  • 1 whole graham cracker
  • 1/4 teaspoon each of pumpkin pie spice and ground cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • Whipped cream (to taste)
  • Pumpkin pie spice (to taste)
  • Cinnamon stick (to taste)

Step 1: Prepare the Martini Glass Rim

Begin by crushing graham crackers in a resealable bag or a food processor until they resemble sand.

Stir in pumpkin spice, cinnamon, and sugar until well combined.

Next, dip the rim of a martini glass into maple syrup.

For a neat application, dip a thick napkin into the maple syrup and use the napkin to apply the syrup to the rim of the glass.

Roll the syrup-coated rim in the graham cracker mix until fully covered.

Set the prepared glass aside.

Step 2: Prepare the Martini

In a cocktail shaker, combine ice with vodka, rum, pumpkin, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and pumpkin spice if using.

Shake vigorously until the shaker is chilled to the touch.

Add in the cream and gently swirl or stir to combine the ingredients.

This ensures a creamy, well-mixed cocktail.

Step 3: Serve and Garnish

Strain and pour the prepared cocktail into the graham cracker-rimmed martini glass.

Garnish with a cinnamon stick, a dollop of whipped cream, and a sprinkle of pumpkin spice and/or nutmeg for added flavor and presentation.

Enjoy your festive Pumpkin Spice Martini!
