Preparation Time | 10-15 minutes |
Cooking Time | 1-5 minutes |
Total Time | 15-20 minutes |
Level of Difficulty | Easy |
Ingredients
- 8 ounces chocolate almond bark (4 blocks)
- 1/2 teaspoon avocado oil
- 1/4 teaspoon mint essence
- 1 sleeve ritz crackers (roughly 32)
- Sprinkles or nonpareils
Step 1: Melt the Almond Bark
Start by melting almond bark in a microwave-safe container for 45 seconds.
Stir well, and if needed, heat for an additional 10 seconds until fully melted and smooth.
Be cautious not to overheat, as this can burn the bark.
Step 2: Mix in Oil and Mint Extract
Once the almond bark is smooth, stir in the desired amount of oil and mint extract until fully incorporated.
This will give your coating a nice shine and minty flavor.
Step 3: Prepare the Dipping Station
Lay a sheet of wax paper onto the counter.
This will be where you place your coated crackers to set, ensuring they don’t stick.
Step 4: Dip the Ritz Crackers
One by one, dip Ritz crackers into the melted chocolate mixture, ensuring both sides are adequately coated.
Use a fork to remove the crackers, tapping off any excess coating on the side of the container.
Place each coated cracker onto the wax paper.
Step 5: Add Decorations
Before the chocolate dries, sprinkle your coated crackers with sprinkles or nonpareils for an added decorative touch.
Step 6: Let Set and Store
Allow the coated crackers to set completely.
Once set, remove them from the wax paper and store in an airtight container.
You can keep them at room temperature or in the refrigerator, depending on your preference.
