Level of Difficulty | Easy |
Ingredients
- 2 cans (15 ounces each) cut green beans, drained
- 1 can (10.5 ounces) condensed cream of mushroom soup
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1 can (2.8 ounces) crispy fried onions
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Step 1: Gather Ingredients and Preheat Oven
First, gather all your ingredients: 2 (15 ounce) cans of cut green beans (drained), 1 (10.5 ounce) can of condensed cream of mushroom soup, ¾ cup of milk, 1 (2.8 ounce) can of French fried onions, and salt and pepper to taste.
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Step 2: Mix Ingredients in Casserole Dish
In a medium-sized casserole dish, combine the drained green beans, condensed cream of mushroom soup, milk, and half of the French fried onions.
Stir everything together until the mixture is well-combined and evenly distributed.
Step 3: Bake the Casserole
Place the casserole dish in the preheated oven and bake for about 25 minutes, or until the mixture is heated through and bubbly.
This will ensure all the flavors meld together nicely.
Step 4: Add Topping and Final Bake
After 25 minutes, carefully remove the casserole dish from the oven and sprinkle the remaining French fried onions over the top.
Return the dish to the oven and bake for an additional 5 minutes, or until the onions are golden and crispy.
Season with salt and pepper to taste before serving hot.
