Hey friends!
Who’s ready for some comfort food? Today, I’m diving into a classic that always hits the spot: Campbell’s green bean casserole.
This dish is creamy, crunchy, and super easy to whip up. Perfect for family dinners or holiday gatherings!
I can’t wait to share how to make this tasty treat. Let’s get cooking!

| Level of Difficulty | Easy |
Ingredients
- 2 cans (14.5 oz) green beans (drained well, I like Del Monte fresh cut green beans)
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce (Lea & Perrins preferred for authentic flavor)
- salt
- 2/3 cup crispy fried onions (plus more for topping)
- 1 can condensed cream of mushroom soup
- 1 tbsp butter
- black pepper
Step 1: Prepare the Baking Dish and Ingredients
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Butter a 9×13 baking dish with 1 tablespoon of butter and set it aside.
Step 2: Combine Main Ingredients
In a large mixing bowl, add 2 cans of green beans and 1 can of Campbell’s cream of mushroom soup.
Substitute 1 teaspoon of soy sauce with 1 teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce and add it to the bowl.
Pour in 1/2 cup of milk.
Add a pinch of salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste.
Stir these ingredients together until well mixed.
Step 3: Add Fried Onions and Mix
Add 2/3 cup of French’s crispy fried onions to the mixture in the bowl.
Mix everything together until all the ingredients are well incorporated.
Step 4: Transfer to Baking Dish and Top with Onions
Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish and spread it out evenly.
Top the mixture with additional crispy fried onions, saving some for later.
Step 5: Bake and Finish
Bake in the preheated oven for about 30 minutes.
After 25 minutes, add more crispy fried onions on top for the last 5 minutes of baking to get a nice crunchy topping.
Step 6: Serve and Enjoy
Once the casserole is done, remove it from the oven.
Serve hot and enjoy your classic green bean casserole!
