Trust me, you’re going to want to make this again and again! Let’s get started!

| Preparation Time | 5-10 minutes |
| Cooking Time | 2-3 minutes |
| Total Time | 7-13 minutes |
| Level of Difficulty | Easy |
Ingredients
- 1/4 tsp baking powder
- 1 pinch salt
- chocolate (chopped dark chocolate is a nice addition)
- nuts (chopped walnuts or pecans work well)
- 1/4 cup oats (rolled oats preferred)
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1/2 cup cottage cheese (full-fat for best texture)
- 1 egg (large)
- soft berries (such as raspberries or blueberries)
Step 1: Gather and Prepare Ingredients
Gather the following ingredients: 1/2 cup cottage cheese, 1/4 cup oats, 1 egg, 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup, 1/4 teaspoon baking powder, a pinch of salt, and any optional toppings you prefer (berries, nuts, chocolate drizzle).
Step 2: Make Oat Flour
Blend the oats in a blender until they reach a fine flour-like consistency.
This will serve as your oat flour for the mug cake batter.
Step 3: Mix the Batter
In a bowl, combine the cottage cheese, oat flour, egg, honey or maple syrup, baking powder, and a pinch of salt.
Mix until all the ingredients are well combined and form a smooth batter.
Step 4: Cook the Mug Cake
Pour the batter into your mug, filling it no more than halfway to allow room for rising.
Microwave the mug for about 2-3 minutes, or until the cake has risen and set.
Keep an eye on it to prevent overflow or overcooking.
Step 5: Add Toppings and Serve
Allow the mug cake to cool for a moment before adding your favorite toppings such as fresh berries, nuts, or a drizzle of chocolate.
Enjoy your Cottage Cheese Mug Cake directly from the mug with a spoon.
Bon appétit!
