Ingredients
- 4 eggs
- 150 g sugar
- Vanilla sugar
- 150 g melted butter
- Little lemon zest
- 200 g flour
- 10 g baking powder
- 2 medium-sized apples
- 300 g cottage cheese
- 2-3 tablespoons sugar
Step 1: Preheat the Oven and Prepare the Egg Mixture
Begin by preheating the oven to 180°C (350°F).
While the oven is heating, take a bowl and beat together 4 eggs with 150 g of sugar and vanilla sugar until the mixture is well combined and creamy.
Step 2: Combine Ingredients
Add 150 g of melted butter and a little lemon zest to the egg mixture, mixing well until everything is evenly incorporated.
Next, sift 200 g of flour and 10 g of baking powder into the mixture.
Stir until the batter is smooth and free of lumps.
Step 3: Prepare the Apples and Baking Dish
Slice 2 medium-sized apples and set them aside.
Grease a baking dish with oil to prevent sticking.
Step 4: Layer the Ingredients
Pour half of the dough into the greased baking dish and spread it evenly.
In a separate bowl, mix 300 g of cottage cheese with 2-3 tablespoons of sugar.
Spread the cottage cheese mixture over the first layer of dough in the baking dish.
Finally, pour the remaining half of the dough on top of the cottage cheese layer, ensuring it covers it completely.
Step 5: Bake and Cool
Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 30 minutes until golden brown.
Once baked, allow the pie to cool slightly before serving.
