Ingredients

  • 1 cup cottage cheese
  • 1/2 cup buffalo sauce
  • 1 packet dry ranch mix
  • 1 pack (12 oz) hawaiian rolls
  • 2 cups cooked, cubed or shredded chicken
  • 2 cups shredded monterey jack cheese
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • Italian seasoning

Step 1: Preheat the Oven

Start by preheating your oven to 350°F (175°C) so it’s ready for baking when you are.

Step 2: Make the Buffalo Sauce

In a blender, combine cottage cheese, buffalo wing sauce, and dry ranch seasoning.

Blend these ingredients until you achieve a smooth, creamy mixture.

This will serve as the flavorful base of your buffalo chicken sliders.

Step 3: Prepare the Chicken

Cook the chicken until it’s done (you can boil, bake, or grill it).

Once cooked, cube or shred the chicken.

In a bowl, mix the cooked chicken with the prepared buffalo sauce until thoroughly combined and evenly coated.

Step 4: Assemble the Sliders

Take a pack of Hawaiian rolls and slice them in half horizontally to create 12 buns, keeping them attached to each other for easier assembly.

Spread the buffalo chicken mixture evenly onto the bottom halves of the buns.

Top the chicken mixture with shredded Monterey Jack cheese.

Place the top halves of the buns over the cheese.

Step 5: Add Butter and Seasoning

Use a pastry brush to cover the tops of the assembled buns with melted butter.

Sprinkle with Italian seasoning for added flavor and a nice finish.

Step 6: Bake and Serve

Place the assembled sliders in the preheated oven and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the filling is hot throughout.

Remove from the oven and serve immediately.

Enjoy your delicious buffalo chicken sliders!
