| Level of Difficulty | Easy |
Ingredients
- red pepper flakes (optional, for a little extra kick)
- 4 oz goat cheese (softened at room temperature)
- hot honey for drizzling (Mike’s Hot Honey is a good choice here)
- 20 large Medjool dates (pitted and split lengthwise)
- 1/4 to 1/3 cup chopped walnuts (lightly toasted for extra flavor)
Step 1: Prepare the Dates
Cut the Medjool dates in half lengthwise.
Carefully remove the pit from each date.
Step 2: Stuff the Dates with Goat Cheese and Walnuts
Open each date half and fill the cavity with goat cheese.
On top of the goat cheese filling, gently press in a walnut.
Make sure the walnut is securely nestled into the goat cheese.
Step 3: Add Finishing Touches
Drizzle a little honey over each stuffed date to add a touch of sweetness.
Finish with a sprinkle of red pepper flakes or Aleppo pepper for a hint of spice, if desired.
Transfer the stuffed dates to a serving platter.
