Preparation Time | 10-15 minutes |
Cooking Time | 20-25 minutes |
Total Time | 30-40 minutes |
Level of Difficulty | Easy |
Ingredients
- 1 cup cottage cheese
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup protein bake powder
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp instant coffee (optional)
- Organic sun butter (for topping)
Step 1: Preheat the Oven
Begin by preheating your oven to 350°F (175°C).
This ensures that your brownies will bake evenly and thoroughly.
Step 2: Blend the Ingredients
In a blender, combine 1 cup of cottage cheese, 2 eggs, 1/2 cup of chocolate chips, 1/2 cup of unsweetened cocoa powder, 1/2 cup of protein bake powder, 1 teaspoon of baking soda, and 1 teaspoon of instant coffee (if using).
Blend all the ingredients together until the mixture is well combined and smooth.
Step 3: Prepare the Baking Pan
Line an 8-inch square baking pan with parchment paper or lightly grease it to prevent sticking.
Pour the blended mixture into the prepared pan, spreading it out evenly.
Step 4: Bake the Brownies
Place the baking pan in the preheated oven and bake for about 20 to 25 minutes.
Keep an eye on them towards the end of the baking time to ensure they don’t overcook.
Step 5: Cool and Slice
Once baked, remove the brownies from the oven and allow them to cool in the pan.
Let them “deflate” for a few minutes before slicing into squares.
This cooling period helps achieve the perfect texture.
Step 6: Serve with Optional Toppings
For an extra touch, you can optionally top the brownies with organic sun butter before serving.
Enjoy your delicious, protein-packed brownies!
