Let’s dive in!

Preparation Time | 10-15 minutes |
Cooking Time | 20-25 minutes |
Total Time | 30-40 minutes |
Level of Difficulty | Easy |
Ingredients
- 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts
- 2 cans cream of chicken soup (284 milliliters each)
- Broccoli
- Olive oil
- Salt
- Black pepper
- Grated cheese (triple cheddar or cheese of your choice)
Step 1: Cook the Chicken
Begin by boiling a couple of boneless skinless chicken breasts in water until they are cooked through, which should take about 18-20 minutes.
Once done, remove them from the water and allow them to cool for a few minutes.
After cooling, cube the chicken or shred it if you prefer a different texture.
Step 2: Prepare the Broccoli
While the chicken is cooling, blanch the broccoli.
Place the broccoli in boiling water for about 3 minutes, then remove it and set it aside to cool.
Step 3: Preheat the Oven and Prepare the Casserole Dish
Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C).
Grease the bottom of a casserole dish using olive oil, melted butter, or cooking spray.
This will prevent the ingredients from sticking to the dish.
Step 4: Assemble the Casserole
Start by evenly distributing the cubed (or shredded) chicken in the bottom of the greased casserole dish.
Next, layer the blanched broccoli over the chicken.
Spread about two cans (284 milliliters each) of cream of chicken soup evenly over the broccoli.
Season the entire dish with salt and black pepper to taste.
Step 5: Add Cheese and Bake
Sprinkle grated cheese, such as triple cheddar or your preferred type, generously over the top of the casserole.
Place the assembled dish in the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the casserole is hot, bubbly, and the cheese has melted to a golden perfection.
Step 6: Serve and Enjoy
Once baked, carefully remove the casserole from the oven.
Let it cool slightly before serving.
Enjoy your delicious chicken and broccoli casserole!
