Level of Difficulty | Easy |
Ingredients
- 2 cans cinnamon rolls (12 oz each)
- 4 eggs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 3 tbsp maple syrup
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 1 tsp cinnamon
Step 1: Gather and Prepare Ingredients
Gather the ingredients you’ll need: 2 cans of cinnamon rolls (12 oz each), 4 eggs, 1/2 cup of milk, 3 tablespoons of maple syrup, 2 teaspoons of vanilla, and 1 teaspoon of cinnamon.
Open the cans of cinnamon rolls and set the included icing packets aside for later use.
Step 2: Prepare the Slow Cooker and Cinnamon Rolls
Spray the inside of a 6-quart slow cooker with non-stick spray or grease it with butter to prevent sticking.
Cut each cinnamon roll into quarters and spread them evenly across the bottom of the slow cooker.
Step 3: Make the Egg Mixture
In a mixing bowl, crack the 4 eggs and whisk them together until well beaten.
Add 1/2 cup of milk, 1 teaspoon of cinnamon, 2 teaspoons of vanilla, and 3 tablespoons of maple syrup to the eggs.
Whisk until all ingredients are fully combined.
Step 4: Combine Ingredients in the Slow Cooker
Pour the egg mixture evenly over the cinnamon rolls in the slow cooker, ensuring all the pieces are well coated.
Drizzle one of the icing packets over the top of the mixture for added sweetness and flavor.
Step 5: Cook and Finish
Cover the slow cooker with the lid and cook on low for 2 to 2.5 hours.
Check periodically for doneness to make sure the edges are not burnt and the middle is not soggy.
Once cooked through, remove the lid and drizzle the remaining icing packet over the top before serving.
Enjoy your delicious slow-cooked cinnamon roll casserole!
