Preparation Time 15-20 minutes
Cooking Time 10-15 minutes
Total Time 2 hours 25 minutes
Level of Difficulty Easy

Ingredients

  • 180ml / 3/4 cup milk
  • 100g / 3 1/2 oz dark chocolate
  • 500ml / 2 cups plain greek yogurt
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Step 1: Gather and Prepare Ingredients

Begin by gathering all the necessary ingredients: 180ml (3/4 cup) milk, 100g (3 1/2 oz) dark chocolate, 500ml (2 cups) plain Greek yogurt, 1 tablespoon honey, and 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract.

Having everything ready will make the cooking process smoother and more efficient.

Step 2: Melt Chocolate with Milk

Place a pan on low heat and add the 180ml (3/4 cup) milk.

Break the dark chocolate into small chunks and add them to the pan with the milk.

Heat gently, stirring frequently, until the chocolate melts completely.

Ensure the milk does not boil to maintain a smooth texture.

Step 3: Incorporate Honey and Vanilla

Once the chocolate has fully melted into the milk, add 1 tablespoon honey and 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract.

Stir well to combine all ingredients into a smooth, homogeneous mixture.

Remove the pan from the heat and allow the mixture to cool for about 5 minutes, giving it time to reach a warm, but not hot, temperature.

Step 4: Combine with Greek Yogurt

In a large bowl, add 500ml (2 cups) plain Greek yogurt.

Once the chocolate mixture has cooled slightly, pour it into the bowl with the Greek yogurt.

Stir everything together until the mixture is well combined and creamy.

Step 5: Chill and Set

Divide the chocolate-yogurt mixture evenly into ramekins, bowls, or jars.

Place the containers in the fridge to chill for about 2 hours.

This will allow the flavors to meld and the texture to firm up.

Step 6: Serve and Enjoy

When ready to serve, you can optionally top each serving with extra Greek yogurt and fresh raspberries for added flavor and presentation.

Enjoy your creamy, high-protein chocolate dessert!
