Preparation Time | 10-15 minutes |
Cooking Time | 15-20 minutes |
Total Time | 25-35 minutes |
Level of Difficulty | Easy |
Ingredients
- 100 g plain whole milk greek yogurt
- 10 g grated parmesan
- 90 g self-rising flour
- 1/4 cup pizza sauce
- 1/4 cup pizza cheese
- 3 oz lean ground beef or chicken (optional)
- Olive oil (for brushing)
- Garlic powder (optional)
- Onion powder (optional)
- Oregano (optional)
- Basil (optional)
- Italian seasoning (optional)
- Crushed red pepper (optional)
Step 1: Preheat the Oven and Prepare Ingredients
Begin by preheating your oven to 450°F (232°C).
In a mixing bowl, combine 100g of plain whole milk Greek yogurt, 10g of grated Parmesan cheese, and 90g of self-rising flour.
If you don’t have self-rising flour, you can use a mix of half oat flour and half almond flour or all-purpose flour with the same ratio.
Optional: Add garlic or onion powder, oregano, basil, Italian seasoning, or crushed red pepper to the dry mix for added flavor.
Step 2: Form the Dough
Mix the ingredients together until they start to clump up.
If necessary, use your hands to combine them thoroughly until you have a non-sticky dough.
Let the dough rest for a few minutes to settle.
Step 3: Shape the Dough
Place the dough onto a piece of lightly floured parchment paper.
Press or roll it out into your desired pizza shape, adjusting the thickness to your liking.
Brush the top of the dough with olive oil to add flavor and help it brown.
Step 4: Pre-bake the Crust
Transfer the dough on the parchment paper to a baking sheet or pizza stone.
Bake in the preheated oven for 5 to 7 minutes until the crust starts to set and lightly browns.
Step 5: Add Toppings
Remove the partially baked crust from the oven.
Top it with 1/4 cup of pizza sauce, 1/4 cup of your favorite pizza cheese, and optional toppings like pepperoni or lean ground beef/chicken for added protein.
Step 6: Final Bake and Serve
Return the topped pizza to the oven and bake for an additional 10 to 12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the crust is golden.
Optional: For a larger pizza, double the recipe or use the recipe card on the website to scale it.
Once done, let the pizza cool for a minute before serving.
