Healthy Chicken Breast with Egg

Ingredients

  • 2 chicken breasts
  • 1 egg
  • A few tbsp of seasoning flour for fried chicken
  • 1 onion
  • 4 cloves of garlic
  • 3 scallion
  • 1 to 2 tbsp of chili sauce
  • A pinch of salt
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds
 

Step 1: Prepare the Chicken

Dice 2 chicken breasts and place them in a bowl.

Break 1 egg into the bowl with the chicken and mix well using chopsticks.

Add a few tablespoons of seasoning flour for fried chicken to the bowl and mix thoroughly with the chicken and egg.

Add a little cooking oil to the mixture to prevent it from being too sticky and mix well again.

Set the mixture aside.

 

Step 2: Prepare the Vegetables

Dice 1 onion and smash 4 cloves of garlic; then finely chop the garlic.

Separate the white and green parts of 3 scallions.

Cut the white part into small pieces and the green part into 3 cm long pieces.

 

Step 3: Cook the Chicken

Heat enough cooking oil in a pan over medium heat.

Add the chicken breast pieces to the pan and fry for 5-7 minutes until the outside is golden brown.

Once cooked, use a colander to drain the oil from the fried chicken.

 

Step 4: Stir Fry the Vegetables

In the same pan, heat a little more cooking oil and add the diced onion, chopped garlic, and white parts of the scallion.

Stir fry for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

 

Step 5: Combine and Season

Add the fried chicken back into the pan along with the green parts of the scallion.

Stir briefly to mix.

Add 1 to 2 tablespoons of chili sauce (optional), a pinch of salt, 1 tablespoon of soy sauce, and 1 tablespoon of oyster sauce.

Increase the heat to high and stir quickly until the chicken and sauce are evenly mixed and fragrant.

 

Step 6: Final Touch and Serve

Finally, add 1 teaspoon of sesame seeds and stir until evenly mixed.

Serve immediately and enjoy the delicious, crispy chicken breast.
