Total Time55-75 minutes
Level of DifficultyMedium

Ingredients

  • 800 gr pork meat
  • 250 gr cottage cheese
  • 80 ml yogurt
  • 50 g hard cheese
  • 1 bunch feathery green onion
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground black pepper to taste
  • Vegetable oil for frying

Step 1: Prepare the Pork Meat

Begin by cutting the pork meat into small pieces, about 1 to 1.5 cm thick, making sure to cut across the grain.

Beat each piece of meat on both sides with a meat tenderizer.

Once tenderized, season both sides of the meat with salt and ground black pepper.

Step 2: Fry the Pork Meat

Heat some vegetable oil in a pan over high heat.

Add the seasoned pork meat pieces and fry them for 1-2 minutes on each side, until they are browned and slightly crispy.

Once done, set the meat aside.

Step 3: Prepare the Cottage Cheese Mixture

In a blender, combine cottage cheese, yogurt, a pinch of salt, and a dash of pepper.

Blend until the mixture is smooth and creamy.

Then, add chopped green onions to the blended mixture and mix thoroughly by hand or with a spoon.

Step 4: Assemble the Dish

Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).

Line a baking tray with baking paper and grease it lightly with sunflower oil.

Place the fried pieces of pork meat on the lined baking tray.

Spread the cottage cheese mixture evenly on top of each piece of meat.

Step 5: Bake the Pork Chops

Sprinkle grated hard cheese generously over the cottage cheese mixture on each piece of pork.

Place the baking tray in the preheated oven and bake for approximately 40 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly, and the meat is cooked through.

Step 6: Serve and Enjoy

Once the pork chops are cooked, carefully remove them from the oven.

Transfer the chops to a serving plate and allow them to rest for a few minutes before serving.

Enjoy your delicious and creamy baked pork chops!
