Ingredients
- 2 cups sifted all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt, plus extra for topping
- 1 cup packed dark brown sugar
- 1/2 cup melted salted butter
- 1 large egg
- 1/4 cup premium bourbon
- 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 cups chopped milk chocolate (approx. 7 oz)
- Shortening for greasing
Step 1: Prepare the Dry Ingredients
In a large mixing bowl, combine the sifted flour, baking soda, and salt.
